Paint correction
Machine polishing to remove paint imperfections.
Service Description
There are many stages to paint correction from paint enhancement to full blown concourse paint we do it all here at TDD! What is the difference between paint enhancement and paint correction you ask? - Paint enhancement - This great for those of you who are new to the Detailing world. This service is designed for those who can't stretch to a full paint correction a single stage machine polish is given to bring the gloss and shine back to the paintwork without breaking the bank.( Please note this will not bring scratches out). - 2/3 stage paint correction- A two/three stage machine polish is given to eliminate light swirls/scratches, oxidation and dull and hazy paintwork that has been damaged over the years, this can be caused by many different factors from poor wash technique, strong chemicals used, the environment you live in and those pesky bushes that always seem to get us while driving down tight narrow lanes. - The full-blown concourse perfection - Some have said it better then when they received it from the showroom! Using a multitude of machine passes and blocking to safely remove heavier defects found on most vehicles such as deep bush rash, deep scratches, surface bird etchings, Bodyshop buffer trails and sanding marks. This is perfect for those who are enthusiastic about their cars and would love to give their tired car a new lease of life again. Please note not every car is suitable for 100% correction it isn’t always possible; compromise must be made in areas with thin clear coat where it would be impractical to sacrifice lacquer and to run the risk of striking through. Also, as a rule in general, scratches that you can ‘feel’ with your fingernail or ones that look white will usually require paint (However, they can be visibly reduced by ‘rounding off’ the edges with correct machine technique). All vehicles will need to be inspected before we book you in for any paint correction or enhancement work. Please book in for our free consultation service where we will fully look over your vehicle and inspect the paintwork and come up with the best service for your vehicle and budget.
